Basket Weaving with a Six-String Guitar
Having a happy, successful life seems to require each of us to find some anchor activity, some thing we can do that keeps us from just drifting away or being dragged off by the tides of our daily lives.
Basket weaving is the task frequently joked about as the anchor activity you'd be set to when caught in the butterfly nets of the men in white coats.
How I have avoided the butterfly nets, the men in white coats, and the basket weaving is by having had a guitar on my lap since I was twelve.
